Ya know, I am wondering if the Dems in D.C. have been keeping tabs on the Dems in the Texas Legislature. Both ran from there responsibilities because they were too scared to face what they themselves have called a crisis! For a little background, Senator Leticia van de Putte (My state senator incidentally) and her merry band of Dems ran TWICE from their responsibilities a few years back...once to New Mexico and once to Oklahoma. In both instances, the Dems were the ones in control of their respective legislative bodies. Ah, heavy is the head that wears that crown I guess. Im reminded of an older Metallica song, 'King Nothing'...describes the liberal Democrats well dontcha think?
